Everybody rock your body right, because Backstreet’s back, alright. And this time members of the 90s boy band are uniting with members of ‘N Sync to star in a zombie movie.
Yes, you read that right.
Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter is co-writing and directing a new zombie western called “Dead Seven,” and fellow Backstreeet Boy AJ McLean will appear in the movie, along with ‘N Sync’s Joey Fatone.
Carter confirmed the news on Twitter, and even reached out to Niall Horan of reigning boy band One Direction to see if he’s interested in a role in the film.
Ok @NiallOfficial I know we’re from different generations but…would you like to play my brother in this zombie movie with me? #Dead7

Furthering his quest for the ultimate ’90s nostalgia overload, Carter also tweeted to Scary Spice herself, Melanie Brown, to offer her a part . Don’t get your hopes up, but Carter’s also after Sisqo — the musician behind the 1999 hit “The Thong Song.”
Carter threw an even bigger Hail Mary by tweeting at former Beatle Paul McCartney to see if he would be in the movie as well. “P.s. You’re GOD of boy-bands,” Carter wrote in the tweet.
Carter is working on the project with The Asylum, the company most famous for creating the “Sharknado” franchise for Syfy.
hey @OfficialMelB Would you be interested in acting in an action movie with me, killing zombies and saving the world? #Dead7 @theasylumcc
