Donald Trump knows exactly who’s to blame for the protests that have erupted across the country in the two days since he was elected president — and according to him it’s not the millions of Americans who are enraged over his rise to the highest office in the land.
Trump took to Twitter on Thursday to point the finger at the media for inciting the protests, deeming the alleged incitement to be “Very unfair!”
“Just had a very open and successful presidential election,” Trump wrote. “Now professional protesters, incited by the media, are protesting. Very unfair!”
One would think that professional protesters would be incited more than anything by the promise of a payday, but never mind; take heart, protesters — the president-elect cited your professionalism!
Since Trump defeated his political rival Hillary Clinton in a nail-biter of a race, protests have taken place in cities including Chicago, Los Angeles and Boston.

It likely won’t be the last time that Trump will be protested. Perhaps between now and when he takes office next year, Mr. President-elect should develop a thicker (and maybe less orange) skin.
