Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards had a little fun Friday when she posted a side-by-side photo of her and Katy Perry and threw her fans into a “what the…?” social media blast.
Edwards posted a note to fans and a link to a Teen Vogue story that started the conversation: “Special, Unicorn, Crazy little mix showed me that I need not be ‘perfect’ to be perfect, if I am who I am it’s already make me the best person I could be.”

Although the hairline is proof positive that they’re neither the same person nor twins (as does the fact that Perry is 32 and Edwards is 23 and, oh, the “morphy_me” watermark on the pic), Instagram went crazy with 3,200 comments and nearly 60,000 likes. Here are a few:

widowvenom66If this was the case then their hairline and skin would be the same not to mention the hair color… Now I gat hair dying because I myself have highlights and a tanning salon but the hairlining is just impossible to hide so no they would and are not twins period…
