Alec Baldwin may make America laugh as Donald Trump on “Saturday Night Live,” but the actor got serious on Wednesday morning while reflecting on the president-elect who will be leading the country for the next four years starting in January.
“The American political system is broken,” Baldwin said in a tweet, then added optimistically that “Italy survived Berlusconi.”
Baldwin is referring to Silvio Berlusconi, who was a media tycoon before serving as Italy’s prime minister for nine years, in total, under different administrations.
Baldwin’s disappointment mirrors that of many other Hollywood stars, who used words like “devastating,” “disgusting” and “scary” when venting their frustrations on Twitter.
It remains to be seen what Trump’s victory over Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton will mean for Baldwin’s gig on “SNL,” but the character will remain relevant for at least four more years.

1- I think the thing to focus on now is our families. To love those that were put in our lives to care for. Also our respective health,

2- work and faith. The American political system is broken. Walk away from it for a while. As Coriolanus says, "There is a world elsewhere."

Baldwin also retweeted this ominous meme, putting Trump’s election to the Oval Office on par with the tragedy of 9/11.
