“AGT” jumped in ratings on Tuesday, allowing NBC to pad its lead over ABC. On ABC, “Bachelor in Paradise” remained steady with last week’s numbers.
Further down the Nielsen ratings sheets, on Fox, “First Responders Live” could use a little CPR of its own after slipping to a new low in the key demo.
NBC was first in ratings with a 1.3 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 7.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “America’s Got Talent” from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. posted a 1.6/8 and 9.4 million viewers. “Bring the Funny” at 10 received a 0.7/4 and 3.9 million viewers.
ABC was second in ratings with a 0.8 and third in viewers with 3.2 million. “Bachelor in Paradise” from 8-10 averaged a 1.1/6 and 4.1 million viewers. Reruns followed.
CBS and Telemundo tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. CBS was second in total viewers with 4.2 million, airing all reruns. Telemundo was fifth with 1.1 million.
Fox and Univision tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.3/2. Fox was fourth in total viewers with 1.4 million, Univision was sixth with 963,000.
For Fox, following a rerun, “First Responders” at 9 managed a 0.3/2 and 1.5 million viewers.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 638,000. “Pandora” at 8 had a 0.2/1 and 679,000 viewers. At 9, “Mysteries Decoded” settled for a 0.1/1 and 597,000 viewers.
