In a turn of events that’s been inevitable since Thursday, when Adele dropped the new video for her song “Hello,” the Internet has gifted us with a mashup of the new clip and the iconic video for the 1984 Lionel Richie smash of the same title.
Predictably, the mashup revolves around a phone conversation between Adele and Richie, which ends up being all too brief because — again predictably — Adele hangs up the phone on him.
