A roadside cross, a glaring headlight and a ghost-ridden motorcycle is all that “Sons of Anarchy” needs to rev up fans for its final season.
The 20-second teaser, embedded below, won’t reveal much for eager viewers of the series — but it will likely prove quite poignant with hindsight. The logline on the FX’s YouTube page reads: “Who will complete the final fide?”
“Sons of Anarchy” fires up its seventh and final season Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. with a loaded one hour, 45 minute episode, the network revealed earlier this week.

The season premiere will be followed by a live episode of the “Sons” aftershow, “Anarchy Afterword.” “Afterword” will air live twice during the show’s final season — once following the premiere, and again following the series finale.
The upcoming final season of “Sons of Anarchy,” starring Charlie Hunnam as biker club leader Jax Teller, will feature musician Marilyn Manson in a recurring role.
