Yes, we know Richard Linklater’s 1993 coming-of-age comedy “Dazed and Confused” takes place at the beginning of summer, but we bet you’ll still be saying “alright, alright, alright” if you watched it now.
“Everybody Wants Some!!,” Linklater’s “spiritual sequel” to “Dazed and Confused,” moves from high school to the college. This one feels right for this weekend, as it’s set the weekend prior to the first day of classes (which in some states, is actually Labor Day Weekend!)
How could you have a back to school movie list without Adam Sandler’s overgrown man-child “Billy Madison,” who actually… goes back to school? We didn’t think so either.
